We are a 17 year old association, which develops our activity in the field of social and cultural activities. It is located in A Baña, a small municipality in the Galicia region. However, our level of action is regional, thus being able to impact the largest number of people in our region. One of the characteristics of Galician society is its strong 19th century migration movement towards Switzerland, Germany and Latin America, so our history and idiosyncrasy is marked by it. Given our trajectory since 2005, we have carried out various activities such as Erasmus+ projects, participation in Europe for Citizens Program projects, seminars, camps, conferences, workshops... Our main areas of work are social and cultural activities related to Galician, Spanish and European migration. Our entity cooperates in European programs and has established a solid network participating in exchanges, seminars, structured dialogues for young people, and Europe for Citizens Program such as the Network of Towns «Strengthening a Europe of solidarity in times of crisis» project. Likewise, we have managed internships for young Neet within the framework of the Galeuropa regional program, which allowed a complete work experience abroad for young Galicians. We have coordinated the mobility of 12 young people who acquired skills and abilities to improve their CV and to insert them into working life.
Our objectives are the following:
•Carrying out activities that promote citizen participation in the migration issue
•Help improve understanding between citizens of Galicia, Spain and the European Union on the different migratory movements
•Search for understanding, integration and creation of new points of view through intercultural dialogue
•Search for alternatives and new challenges to overcome in the present and future From the Association we are committed to our objectives, which is why various volunteers of various age groups carry out a multitude of activities, such as:
•Awareness of the importance of a united European Union without borders and respecting local idiosyncrasies
