The Antares Association has its headquarters in Roccavaldina, founded by several people involved in the cultural and volunteering fields and pursues non-profit purposes. The Association is made up of many young people, freelancers, motivated by strong enthusiasm and a great passion in the cultural and volunteering fields. The importance of discussing is an opportunity for discussion and personal growth. Every year we organize countless discussion tables, in order to bring young people closer to politics and institutions, broadening their awareness, knowledge, practices and values of active youth citizenship starting from knowledge of the territory in which they live. The Association's aim is to promote social and cultural activities, with the aim of encouraging the active participation and civil commitment of citizens, and in particular of the youth world. The association has participated in countless European projects. The main objective is to work in areas of interest to young people, providing advice, information, supporting active participation in society and involving them in projects of an international nature to introduce them to other cultures. In relation to the theme of the project, the association has always promoted actions to increase citizens' awareness of the culture of waste reduction, reuse and recycling, and of waste reuse practices. The Antares association's participation in the project aims to give young people the opportunity to live an experience as active protagonists and to share with participants from other geographical contexts the meaning of European citizenship, starting with their rights, and to know and use , despite living in a very small community that has few economic resources, the opportunities that Europe makes available to them for inclusive growth.
